Why is Finvita® in
tablet form and not a capsule?
Some
adults and children find that large capsules can be difficult to
swallow and may stick to the roof of your mouth. Finvita® Beta Glucan
is
formulated as a convenient tablet which can be easily broken
or
halved to help
those who have difficulty swallowing. Finvita tablets also have a very
long shelf life.
Is Finvita® safe
for children?
Yes. Finvita
®
Beta Glucan is made from baker's yeast and is safe for adults and
children over 4 years old.
Is Finvita®
suitable for vegetarians?
Yes. Finvita® Beta Glucan does not contain any ingredients of animal
origin.
Will Finvita® affect
my yeast allergy?
No.
Although Finvita® is made from baker's yeast any allergenic proteins
have been removed during the purification process making the product
safe to use by those with baker's yeast allergy.
Does Finvita® Beta
Glucan trigger Crohns disease?
No.
Some preparations of Beta Glucan may trigger inflammatory
bowel
disease this is due to contamination with yeast proteins. Wellmune WGP®
has been purified to remove these proteins.
Is Finvita® safe
to use during pregnancy?
Finvita®
Beta Glucan has been demonstrated to be safe and Biothera, the
manufacturer of Wellmune WGP® claim the product is safe to
use
during pregnancy and lactation. However, we recommend that it is good
practice for all pregnant and breastfeeding women to consult with their
doctor before taking any food supplements.
How long can I take
Finvita® for?
Finvita®
Beta Glucan is safe to use as an everyday supplement to your normal
diet helping to maintain your vitality and natural resistance to
bacteria, viruses and fungi. Unlike some immune system supplements
there is no need to take a break from the product to maintain
effectiveness.
Is Finvita® Beta Glucan just
another multi vitamin formulation?
No. Finvita
®
Beta Glucan does not contain vitamins. It is a product specifically
designed to help maintain your immune system and is completely
different to multi-vitamins and other immune supplements such echinacea.
